Cooking for Kids with Millet

Cooking for kids can be quite challenging, especially when cooking involves healthy foods. In many cases children do not consider healthy foods particulary tasty. But everybody knows that they still have to get their share of nutients from whole grain, vegetables and other healthy foods.

The best way to do so is to "hide" healthy stuff in something kids do like, such as as pies or desserts. Yes, they include some sugar as an ingridient, but not as much as store cakes.

Here are several examples of recipes we think kids will love:

Millet Sweet Pie "Karavai"
Millet Kasha with Cinnamon
Millet "Amber" Kasha

You can always pick more recipes from the list of pies on baking and desserts with millet page.
